Kirkby has a number of different centres that support community activity
There are four community centres:
- Northwood Community Centre, run by Northwood Community Centre Association ( Facebook )
- Southdene Community Centre, run by Southdene Community Association ( Facebook )
- Towerhill Community Centre run by Knowsley Council
- Westvale Community & Youth Centre run by Knowsley Council
There are three Children’s Centres in Kirkby:
- The Pride Children’s Centre
- The Eden Children’s Centre
- The Star Children’s Centre
There are two centres at Adventure Playgrounds:
- Copthorne – it is unclear if this centre is still open
- Mill Farm run by Knowsley Council, has a small meeting room
There are two community centres provided by Knowsley Housing Trust for sheltered accommodation:
- Fairhaven Community Centre
- Park Close Community Centre
